Another Teen in the House Party

Daniel's Thirteenth birthday party has Y themed again.  He played teen games like Mafia, 4 people on a couch and the name game.  I love the good friends he has made here and am grateful that he can go to the temple often with them.

Fort Building in the Family Room

 Alyssa and Josh were pretty proud of this fort they made to take over our family room.  I used love making bunk bed forts as a kid too.  Then we would convert them into a school house so I could teach my younger siblings.

Homecoming Becca

Rebecca went to Senior Homecoming with Josh Clark and had a wonderful time.  It was her favorite day date ever.  They went to the Civil Defense Caves, had a barbecue and decorated cupcakes.  I love how things are a bit more simplified and for their dinner, they usually go to a friend's home for a nice meal instead of paying a grundle at a restaurant.

Little Readers

Alyssa and Josh like to be read to... but getting them to read on their own is a struggle.  It's nice when they have a friend over and want to show off their skills making them much more motivated to get the reading homework done.

K-12 plus 4 in between

This year our kids are spread from Kindergarten to Senior with children in every school. 

Wade in the Water

After a full river this spring, the girls were happy to finally have it low enough to wade safely across.  And Jacob took advantage of it once school started.  Instead of riding the bus, he rode his bike to the river, waded across, and walked to school so he could have an extra 30 minutes at home in the morning!

Emily's Eleventh Birthday Bash

Emily had a birthday party and invited her friends Hope, Taylor, Bailee, Ella, Ashlyn and Lizzie.

She asked me to make cheesecake.
