Family History Trip

I travelled down to visit my parents and attend the RootsTech conference.  Daniel and Joshua accompanied me and Josh had a great time hanging out at the children's museum with his cousin Owen and Matt and Tiffany.

We also stopped by a store that had a ferris wheel inside and Joshua was delighted to ride one for the first time.

That Sunday Paul Meiling, my home teacher growing up spoke in church and shared his miraculous survival story after getting stranded on a remote road near Pocatello, Idaho in the coldest part of winter for 3 days.  Without cell service he was able to stay alive when he found a shack with coal inside, and eventually hiked out to a spot that had cell service for a moment.  It was truly inspiring to hear his story and his message about following spiritual promptings and the miracles that preserved him.
