Jacob - Valuable Incredible Kid Award

Ever since Jacob discovered that he could buy a toy football at the AR (Accelerated Reader) store, he has been very motivated to earn more points, and I find him reading like this a lot.


Today, he came home from school beaming. He received the "Valuable Incredible Kid Award." His teacher wrote "Jacob has made fantastic growth this year. He always has a book open and is reading. His handwriting has improved 200%. Jacob is a phenomenal First Grader!!

    That is so cute! I wish my boy had something like that to motivate him in grade school. Jacob has some competetive genes huh?!
