Happily Ever After

A couple of weekends ago, we went to celebrate my brother Matthew's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple.  It was such a sweet and inspiring occasion.  I realize now that I didn't even get any photos of them. I didn't want to detract from the "real"photographers job when they came out of the temple, so instead I kept busy capturing shots of the kids on the "sidelines," and then tucked my tablet away to just enjoy the evening.

After the temple ceremony, Matt and Tiffanie had a family dinner and ring ceremony at the "Energy Solutions Arena" and I loved visiting in the more intimate environment with just close family and friends.
Emily and Dessie were excited to "surprise Matt and Tiffanie when they came out of the elevator to arrive at the dinner after they spied them coming up the walkway down below.

Tiffanie made all of the beautiful  decorations with a storybook theme and one of my favorite parts of the evening was when they shared their "story."  It was a long wait for the 2 of them to find each other to begin their "happily ever after."

It was nice to reflect that day on the happy years I've been blessed to spend with my "Prince Charming."  Jared is still so perfect for me and my best friend ever!
The younger children passed the time sliding down the stairs while we waited for Matt and Tiffanie to come out.
