The kids had school off last week for a couple of days for Parent Teacher Conferences. Jacob & Dan enjoyed playing with each other outside almost all day long. They were pretending to be farmers and seemed to derive a lot of pleasure from digging and hauling dirt around in the garden. Jacob also continues to perfect his bubble blowing capabilities. He came in with a pretty mustache that night after all the gum that got stuck on his lips mixed with the dirt they dug up. Emily joined in for the pictures. She loves being outside almost as much as them. Yesterday she announced that when she grows up she's going to be a girl firefighter.
